Peter heard the gunshot and somehow already knew what had happened. He ran over to see a man lying on the sidewalk, his shirt covered in blood.
Uncle Ben looked up at him, eyes glazing over. He coughed, and yet managed to say with a steady voice, “Peter, listen to me. You have to use your abilities to help people. Promise me. With great power comes great responsibility.”
Peter stared back, tears still flowing, and replied.
“How do you define responsibility?”
